 Hotel Description:

What's more, the Biltmore offers concierge services, health club facilities and business services. Smeraldi's Restaurant offers sumptuous California cuisine. Like they say, the legendary Millennium Biltmore Hotel combines old- world hospitality and new-century amenities to create one of the city's most impressive hotels. Guests rooms also feature multiple phones, high- speed Internet and 24-hour room service. Recognized as downtown's best Japanese restaurant, Sai Sai delights guests with traditional to contemporary Japanese cuisine, including Kaki Shishito (pan-fried oyster on the half shell) and Yellow Tail Ceviche. In ornate Rococo surroundings, the Rendezvous Court allows guests to savor cocktails, gourmet and herbal teas, sandwiches, miniature pastries, fresh scones and sparkling wines. Designed in the style of the Italian Renaissance, the Biltmore was the largest and grandest hotel west of Chicago when it opened in 1923 and began hosting high society; film czars and stars; dukes, princesses, princes, kings and queens; U.S. presidents; and conventioneers and cross-country travelers. Accommodations feature warm gold, cream and ivory accented by rich woods, plush drapery, stately furnishings and bathrooms appointed in marble. The legendary Millennium Biltmore Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles' financial district, just four blocks from the Performing Arts Center. Handsomely preserved and restored thanks to a $10 million renovation, the lobby is decorated with hand-painted ceiling frescoes, with the original tile indoor pool depicting the days of Pompeii. Los Angeles magazine christened the hotel's Gallery Bar and Cognac Room as "one of the best places in town to have a cocktail.".

More Great Cities
Daytona - Daytona Beach gained much of its fame for having beautiful beaches, in more ways than one. In fact, these particular beaches comprised a unique hardness which proved to be the perfect environment to test-drive cars. During the 1930s and 1940s most of the land speed records for automobiles were established in Daytona. Soon enough came the Daytona 500, one of racing’s most prestigious events. The city has retained its racing history with attractions such as Daytona USA and the Daytona International Speedway. The beautiful beaches also attract thousands of spring breakers each year, as well as senior citizens and families year-round who are in search of a relaxing time in the sun.
Myrtle Beach - With the city's mild climate and more than 200 sunny days a year, it's no wonder that Myrtle Beach is the perfect vacation destination for the entire family. The area is famous not only for its beaches, but even more so for its golf options, boasting 108 championship courses. Don't forget about the swimming, surfing, sailing, and other sun and sand favorites, as well as the countless array of miniature golf courses and amusement parks.
Newark - Newark is the travel hub for the New York-New Jersey area. The Newark Liberty International Airport serves the most passengers of any airport in the NY Metro Region - including JFK. The city is about a 20- to 30-minute drive from the Big Apple and is about a two-hour drive from popular Jersey-shore towns such as Atlantic City, Ocean City and Cape May. Newark also offers its own unique culture and activities, centered on world-class museums, international restaurants and plenty of nightlife. Hey, the city brews more Budweiser beer than any other city in the world.
Charlotte - Exemplifying southern charm with a modern twist, Charlotte blends the very best of yesterday and today. While the city is the second largest financial center in the country, it is also the place to see southern Colonial and Victorian homes and experience the warmth of southern hospitality. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities such as golf, hiking or biking, and even water sports such as water-skiing, sailing or windsurfing on Lake Norman, the state’s largest man-made lake.
Madrid - The capital city of Spain, Madrid sits in the heart of the peninsula. Madrid is an industrial and political hub and is the seat of the Spanish Royal Family. But Madrid is also a booming tourist destination, characterized by intense cultural and artistic activity, a rich sporting heritage, and a lively nightlife. Experience incredible dining and shopping along the Paeo de la Castellana. Let yourself go in the pulsating nightlife of the Arguelles and Moncloa Districts. Catch a bullfight or visit the historic sites throughout the city. The choices are endless.
San Francisco - San Francisco is an intimate city made up of museums, galleries, parks, natural wonders, exciting neighborhoods, boutiques, and scenic overlooks. In addition to all there is to do here, the San Francisco is famous for its cultural diversity. From heart stopping Spanish flamenco dance to moody French noir films; ancient Mesopotamian cuisine to utterly proper English high tea, you'll find it all in San Francisco.
Hawaii Kauai - Home to the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", Waimea Canyon; the island of Kauai is not only the northernmost of all of the Hawaiian Islands, but arguably the most beautiful. When it comes to sheer paradise, Kauai has it all. From the rain forests, steep cliffs, emerald valleys, sun-kissed beaches and the occasional rainbow, Kauai is truly a site to behold, one of those places that you must see to believe. One of the most pristine of all of the islands, Kauai's location helps protect it from growing developments, helping to keep its natural beauty.
New York City - New York City is still the business and entertainment capital of the world. Most of what makes New York so famous is cosmopolitan Manhattan Island. Thousands of people bustle along Manhattan Streets each day, exploring landmarks such as Times Square and Central Park, strolling down Broadway or Fifth Avenue, or enjoying the immense variety of theater, restaurants, nightlife and more. Hey, it's the city that never sleeps.
Miami - More than 10 million tourists a year flood Miami-Dade County to take advantage of the white-sand beaches, the sunny weather, the upscale shopping, the sizzling nightlife, and the outstanding “New World” cuisine that has taken on a style and taste of its own.
